    Hello

I have a problem on my site. I activated the AMP in transitional mode. I have the url /? Amp = 1 but I have a blank page.
I am using the ASTRA theme in its latest version.
In the Chrome debug I have this:

    Get https://calci-patrimoine.com/?amp=1 net :: ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED 200

What should I do? it’s been a while since the site can be put in AMP because I often have errors

On a test environment, the site is displayed but without menu. I also have the WP Touch Pro plugin. Is there a conflict with this module. Is the AMP module compatible with this one? on the prod version, the site displays this error ERR_FAILED_200 with a blank page.

    Thanks for your help

    cordially

    Nicolas

    Hello @nicowebmaster

As I mentioned in the previous support topic we are unable to reproduce this issue, The possible causes vary from your server configurations to plugin conflicts.

unfortunately, I can’t replicate your plugin settings at my end so we need you to further investigate using Health and Troubleshooting plugin.

Possible reasons Cache plugin, HTML, CSS, JS compression plugin, PHP gzip compression.

To narrow down further, could you use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely since it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

    – Please enable the AMP plugin and let me know if the issue is present.
    – Enabling plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
    – Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

Also, please send your PHP error log using this form which will be helpful in debugging the issue.

    Hello
I installed the Health and Troubleshooting plugin and activated the troubleshooting mode. The TwentyTwenty theme has been activated and only the AMP module. The problem is still present, namely the error: GET https://calci-patrimoine.com/?amp=1 net :: ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED 200
    Thanks

    Hello @nicowebmaster

if you don’t find an issue using Health and Troubleshooting plugin I will recommend checking with your hosting provider and making sure your server is configured correctly.

Alternatively, rename advanced-cache.php drop-in to advanced-cachebkp.php and check if the issue still exists.

    Hello @nicowebmaster

Additionally, please make sure you have disabled two options from the Hyper Cache plugin for compression as shown in screenshot 1 and screenshot 2

    Hello

I renamed the advanced-cache.php file to advanced-cachebkp.php and I have something showing.
When I look at the settings of the AMP plugin and especially the deletion plugin, there are a lot of validation errors for the following modules: Elementor Pro, Elementor, Astra Hooks, Gravity forms, Google Analytics, Youtube Video Lite …

2nd test, i disabled two options Compression with HyperCache. The AMP version website displayed. It’s OK.

Regarding WPTouch, you advise me to leave it active? Is there a real plus to having AMP + WP Touch?

    Thanks

    Hello @nicowebmaster

WPtouch : You can leave WPtouch deactivate or suppress using the plugin suppression feature. this may be useful in case you have disabled mobile redirect.

Elementor: it uses javascript heavily, as you know AMP pages do not allow custom javascript, so the AMP plugin removes them to create a valid AMP page.
I will recommend trying the AMP Enhacer plugin which may resolve some incapabilities of Elementor.

Gravity Form: You can use this mini plugin to resolve form submission issue.

Google Analytics by Monserinsight: They have an add-on plugin to support AMP, please check with their support or check thier guide

WP YouTube Lyte: Suppress it using plugin suppression feature, AMP already lazyloads youtube videos.

Astra Menu: The above header and below header menus are intentionally removed by Astra theme only primary menus are supported at the movement also if you use the new header and footer builder it will be supported from version 3.3.4 as per their support forum, please contact Astra Support for further information.

@nicowebmaster As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
