    Hey there,

    for some reason, my website doesn’t do any backups more because of “Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted”. It always needs a few tries and then it seems to work on the third try. Any idea?

    Please go to your job setting and then untick XML export, save the job and try to run it again, is this help?
    Btw, go to BackWPUp-> Settings -> Infomation tab -> press Get Debug Info and then paste it in here

    So uncheck XML export work for you?
    If you using the built-in WordPress XML exporter ( Tools -> Export ), is this problem happens?

    Excluding the XML file export for the backup does solve the problem.
    Using the WordPress XML exporter (under tools) results in an proper XML file without any error.

    So, at the moment I have to use BackWPUp without any XML export. Is there any chance to get this working again?
