    Hello,

After upgrading to the latest version 3.12.0 of Elementor, our website shows this error in the front end:
“There has been a critical error on this website.”

    The wordpress backend works fine.

We had to roll back to the older version 3.11.5 of Elementor by replacing the files in element or folder via our Hosting and the website came back up.

Anyone else facing this issue? any way of fixing it? We always like to have latest versions of all plugins on our website!

    Hope to hear from you!

    Best Regards,

    Shoaib

    Hi,

Usually critical errors happen due to incompatibilities between Elementor and another plugin – or due to an incompatibility with the theme you might be using. Could you try please to do the following:

    1. Make sure you have a complete backup. See here: https://elementor.com/blog/backup-wordpress/
    2. Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, and server cache (if possible).
    3. Deactivate all plugins apart from Elementor. If this helps, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. In case the issue persists, switch your theme (temporarily) to the Hello Theme and see if it makes any difference after updating the plugin to the latest version.

Is there any way for you to diagnose what the error could be from the above error message ?

    Hi Shoaib,

Thanks for your reply! Could you send us the link to the website?

Furthermore, have you updated Elementor and Elementor Pro to the latest versions and followed the above troubleshooting steps of disabling all plugins and switching your theme to the Hello Theme by Elementor?

    Looking forward to your reply,
