    After upgrading the Google Calendar Events (GCE) Im not able to show the calendar in the widget on my site https://www.kfkvinnherad.no.

    ERROR:
    Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /customers/6/5/f/kfkvinnherad.no/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/class-gce-display.php on line 30 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /customers/6/5/f/kfkvinnherad.no/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/class-gce-display.php on line 60

    When I come into the side , it looks as if the calendar is displayed correctly, but the error message comes when I refreshes the page.

    So far I have followed all the troubleshooting suggestions such as to disable all plugins etc, but without success with it.

    Some suggestions for troubleshooting ?

    Can you share the settings you are using?

    This just happened after the recent update correct? What version were you using before?

    Have you changed anything else like hosting/server configurations?

    I will do the best I can to help you get this resolved.

    Thanks!

    I have not encountered this still. I am going to assume this has been resolved on your end since there has not been a reply here. If you need any further help please let me know and I will be glad to assist.

    Thanks!

    Hi, I experienced an error when I recently upgraded too. A warning flashed up saying invalid header, then the Google cal plugin disappeared from the dashboard and plugin page. Now my website just has this written in its place

    [google-calendar-events id=”1, 3″ type=”ajax” title=”Events on”]

    Please advise on what i need to do, in order to bring the calendar back.

    Can you check that the GCal Events plugin is still active?

    If you can’t activate, you may need to remove it and re-install.

    If problems persist, can you please start a new topic as this one was already marked resolved?

    Thanks.

    The plugin is loaded, but not active. It deactivated itself after the upgrade on the 20th March.

    I’ll try what you suggest. Sorry for tagging an old ticket.

    I still get the same error after reinstalled several times:

    Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /customers/6/5/f/kfkvinnherad.no/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/class-gce-display.php on line 30 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /customers/6/5/f/kfkvinnherad.no/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/class-gce-display.php on line 60

    Im using the default settings after reinstalling every time.

    @sturge08,

    Try changing your shortcode to use the updated feed ID generated.

    @olavrossland,

    Did you even get that with the latest update (2.2.4)?

    Hello Nick.

    Im not shure what do You mean by “Try changing your shortcode to use the updated feed ID generated.”

    By the way: Yes I even get the error after the latest update

    @olavrossland,

    Im not shure what do You mean by “Try changing your shortcode to use the updated feed ID generated.”

    I was referring to the shortcode posted by @sturge08 here:

    [google-calendar-events id=”1, 3″ type=”ajax” title=”Events on”]

    We have an updated shortcode that looks a bit different than the old version:

    [gcal display=”grid” id=”111, 222″]

    If you also have not updated your shortcodes you might want to try that as there could be an issue there. If your shortcodes are up to date already then can you post your feed settings so I can see what might be going on?

    Also, do you only get the error right after updating or is it still there now?

    I managed to resolve my issue by removing the plugin via FileZilla, installing the latest version and adding my API.
