    My site which has been working fine for a number of years decided to do an automatic update.
    now i cant log in to wp-admin
    and get the following message Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/glennsm/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 656 multiple times
    followed by: Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use
    __construct()
    instead. in /home/glennsm/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457

    i have renamed all the plug in folders but still get this message, any assistance trying to sort would be gratefully received.

    Cheers
    Mark

    try MANUALLY re-updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first.
