ERROR after updating to wp 6.7

    I’m encountering sending error only with wpcf7 since the 6.7 upgrade with all my websites, the cf7 continues spinning and doesn’t send any email, but if you are logged into wordpress it works.

    The problem is wpcf7 related cause i’ve tried the php mailsend of wp and it works. I’m not using any plugin wor wp mail sending but only WP_SMTP function

  • I too have the same problem and if you try you will see that the acceptances are ticked and you resend the form and the email is sent

    ok, i’m trying now, i’ve also tried to rollback the wp version and the cf7 version and none of them has worked

    There’s a REST API error with wpcf7 and it caused a 401 error. If i try to override rest api authentication in the website it also goes on error 500 witch the callback so it’s a cf7 problem with the rest api

    Ok i have resolved the issue, i’ve made a script some years ago for security on my custom themes and it was blocking the rest api access to cf7, remember that cf7 needs access to rest api even when peoples are not logged ??

    and no, I still have the problem that the first time I send the form nothing happens, but the second time it does
