  • Hi!

    Can you please try turning off debugging mode in wp-config.php file and check if that helps

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);

    Hi,

    I have the same horrible issues since upgrading to 4.2.2.

    Horrible horrible horrible….

    Notice: register_sidebar was called incorrectly. No id was set in the arguments array for the “Sidebar” sidebar. Defaulting to “sidebar-1”. Manually set the id to “sidebar-1” to silence this notice and keep existing sidebar content. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. BUT ! I CANNOT EVEN LOG IN AS ADMIN !! Trying to do so is quite frustrating because I get a “blocked cookie alert” even though all my settings in Chrome or IE are fine,I allow everything and I did delete history etc..
    I cannot acces my own &%**&*% wp-admin to at least try to resolve the code.
    This is supremely frustrating. I cannot login. plus my website looks like hell with numerous error warnings.
    I have never ever seen an upgrade destroy solid code before.
    And I have been a around since Yahoo Page Builder in the 90s ok ?

    Am quite distraught as well because all the french accents I had for my site are all buggered and retarded.
    What the hell went wrong with the 4.2.2 upgrade ?

    How can I at least try to access my page through the wp-admin login ?

    Thank you for all your help out there gurus.

    My web hosting guru called me back (am old friend) seems the Meridian theme had some things the upgrade ruined, he fixed it.

    Am backing up my precious stuff and will wait a while before ever considering upgrades again unelss they are iron clad.

    Folks, do as @nodarik suggests above, turn wp_debug off and these notices will go off.

    Your site will still work fine. They are notices.

    wp_debug should be off on a production site anyway so things like this don’t happen. ??
