For Yadiihair it was a theme option that was the cause

the solutions was:
Go to your theme options, and turn off this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/iemmrym7z16guwi/2015-08-11%20at%2005.54.png?dl=0 ( is under product tab)
this will display your variations as a box options like this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/wtkzf8184utfo07/2015-08-11%20at%2005.56.png?dl=0 . and the variations will be available again. that works for me.
and remember to update virtue premium.

I was experiencing the same issue after updating WooCommerce.

I tried everything that is mentioned in may threads, what fixed it was downloading the more recent release of my theme (Flatsome). I love theme developers that keep their products up to date!
