Error after latest update

    Hello, after the latest update it gives me the following error

    kan niet worden geactiveerd omdat hij een fatale fout veroorzaakt.
    (Plugin cannot be started, because fatal error)

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/vhosts/futsal-ltc.nl/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/leaguemanager/lib/league.php on line 2745

    someone knows how to fix this problem ?

    i used an to old PHP version on my site. i used PHP 7.0 and it solved this problem

    I had the same problem and I solved it by updating the php version as @boormaster said.
    I could not upgrade to version 7 because the most I could was the 5.6.31. With that also left the error.

    Is there a solution besides updating php?

    I am not using my own server so I can not do so.. none of my teams are showing up and I’m on season 5. It worked fine before the last update…

    My error when I try to add a team…

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in ******/wp-content/plugins/leaguemanager/admin/team.php on line 16

    I finally deleted the plugin and reinstalled it because there were some things that were conflicting. With that it corrected the problems. I had to do the job of the league again but in my case it was not much work
