I am encountering an issue with the Google Listings and Ads plugin by WooCommerce. Even though the plugin is installed and activated on my WordPress site, I am receiving an error message stating “Additional plugins are required: WooCommerce.”

I have double-checked and confirmed that WooCommerce is indeed installed, activated and up to date on my WordPress site.

Can anyone please advise on how to resolve this error and get the plugin to function correctly?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Hello getgreens

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

That is a strange error you are facing.
Let’s have a look at it and find out a solution. ??

To start, could you share a screenshot of the error?

Next, I’d also like to review your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://paste.mozilla.org/
After that, you can paste the generated link here in your reply.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Best regards.

    Hi @getgreens and @dcccccccccc

This message informs you about the dependencies between plugins. Seeing this warning is completely normal! Think of it as a helpful reminder: you must install the WooCommerce plugin before the Google Listing & Ads plugin can work.

Just a friendly reminder: This same message will appear on the “add new plugin” page for all plugins developed and maintained by WooCommerce, not only for Google Listing and Ads.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hi ?? We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
