Error adding product to cart through URL

  • I am trying to add some code to add a product to the cart from a button click URL. One URL example is this:
    https://thewaterhaus.com/product/water-credit-gift-card/?add-to-cart=887

    When I put the item in my cart from the product page it will work fine. But if I add the product through the above URL I get this error, “The gift card has invalid amount”.

    The product is a gift card and the amounts are correctly inserted fine.

    This works in every way except when using the URL to add to cart. Please help.

    The same thing happens to me with the link as when pressing the “Add to cart” button.

    Could you send me screenshots, of the product-specific configuration you have sent me, and can you show me the “Recipient & Delivery settings for physical gift cards delivered at home” located in the section “YITH” > “Gift Cards” > “Recipient & delivery”?

    The product works fine if I go to the product and checkout. But if I add the product to cart through URL it gives the error.
