I get the following error trying to activate this plugin:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in
    C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\atomic-blocks\dist\init.php on line 102

This is the content of line 102:

    $args[‘template’] = [

I note that 300+ have installed this plugin, so not sure why I am encountering this error.

    Hi Al,

We unintentionally used a more modern syntax there and it’s causing you problems. This is happening because you’re on an outdated version of PHP. You can ask your host to update the version of PHP (preferably 7.2) on your web server and that will fix it. We’ll also issue an update to make the code more compatible so it doesn’t cause this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Hi Al,

The latest version of the plugin fixes this issue. Thanks for the heads up!
