Error 6

  • I tried to resolve the error 6 message I am receiving by contact my hosting company (as stated in the FAQs), but my hosting company sees no issues and said to contact the plugin developer directly. Is this plugin maybe not compatible with the theme I am using? Please advise.

    I am wondering about this same topic. I am self-hosting, on CentOs 7. I can see that I have an up-to-date system (29 Sept 2016), CURL is installed:
    curl.x64_64 7.29.0-25.el7.centos
    libcurl.x64_64 7.29.0-25.el7.centos
    python-pycurl.x64_64 7.29.0-25.el7.centos

    as well, I have php installed:
    php70w.x86_64 7.0.11-1.w7

    I am wondering why I am receiving the error: 6 message?

    Melanie — I would ask you — does your plugin work despite the error: 6 message? Have you been able to resolve the error condition?
