Error 56 when installing plugins on wordpress

  • Hi there,

    I purchased a theme from Envato a few months ago and it comes bundled with some plugins like Revolution Slider and for some reason every time I try to install the plugins I get an error message which reads:

    Download failed. cURL error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer

    I am a beginner but have read that many people have installed these plugins manually but I am not sure how to do this?

    I would also like to know if I was installing these plugins manually where would I find the plugins?

    As you use a commercial theme/plugin and need support, please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

    Commercial products are not supported in these forums. You are their customer; I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
