Hello. After the update, the plugin has heavily loaded the server and now there is Error 523 – https://i.imgur.com/bKPbrQc.png.

Test with Yoast Test Helper, as there is no access to the site, sysadmin can not fix the problem and have to correspond with the hosting provider to fix the problem.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @samtulana,

Thank you for reaching out, we apologize for the issues you are having on your site.

We would like some more information. Did you run the indexation process after the update or did the issue occur just after the update itself? We ask since our major 14.x release has a new way to store the Yoast data into your database and this process can take quite some resources while running. Are you able to see any error logs on the control panel your host provides by any chance so we can help you figure this out? If you are able to reach the control panel and the file manager, you might want to upper the PHP memory limit according to the steps found here.

The problem started after the plugin update, there were a lot of requests, and after the server just down. Now we wait for the provider to help restore the server. Thank you.

Guys, I’m sorry for offtop. My server has been unavailable for over two hours. My sysadmin won’t be able to take up the problem until five hours later.

My server is on Hetzner. I wrote to the provider, but says the server is fine, you should use the RESCUE feature – https://i.imgur.com/GcCgm0M.png. I have no idea what to do, but I really want this site to work again.

I would appreciate your help, advice, or just ignore these requests. Thank you.

    Hi @samtulana,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Unfortunately, we can’t guide you with your specific server configuration or how to use the rescue feature. If your web host support can’t help you with rebooting the server or doing other technical troubleshooting, we suggest waiting on your sysadmin to have a look at the server.

    Hi @samtulana,

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new forum topic. Thank you!
