Error 503 of Amazon short links

    Hi there,
    I apologize for my bad English, I know it’s not the best…
    I really like your great plugin, but now I discover a little problem.
    After edited some pages of my website, I chenged from regular links to Amazon to short links.
    Now your plugin reports: 503 Service Unavailable
    but all those links works well.
    Please tell me if there is something that I can do to solve this little problem.

  • @drunkfox refers to short Amazon “short links” being reported as broken, but I am finding full-length links to Amazon are also reported as broken.

    I have three such links on my site. When they were reported as broken, I marked them as OK, so that the plugin would accept them, but the false report came back after a few weeks. This has happened several times.

    I look forward to hearing if there is a solution to this.

    In short, @drunkfox, the developers have put this issue on their action list. In the meantime, they have recommended using the option in “Settings -> Link Checker -> Which Links To Check” to exclude the Amazon links that are generating false reports.

    I have tried that with mine.

    I hope you are doing well!

    I’m afraid this is an already reported issue. Amazon links, are retiring 503 error and our developers are looking into this.

    As @scarne mentioned, please exclude from being scanned, go to Settings > Link Checker > Which Links To Check, by adding Amazon domain to an exclusion list.
