Error 500 when writing or editing page

    When trying to save or publish a page, I get the following error.

    500 (Internal server error) on usanudist.com https://usanudist.com/blog/wp-admin/page-new.php /blog/wp-admin/page.php 500

    Using WP 2.1

    This problem occurs on all themes

    Operating system Linux
    Kernel version 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp
    Machine Type i686
    Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
    PHP version 4.4.4
    MySQL version 4.1.21-standard

    This is a new problem. I have created over 100 pages before this with no error. When I first noted the problem, after receiving the error, the page would be present.
    Now the error message is received and no page is saved.

    At one time after I deleted the page on the page management screen, it would reappear.

    I checked and repaired the MySQL database, which too care of the deletion problem.

    I have reloaded the /wp-admin/ files.

    I have other domains with WP blogs using the same components on the same server that do not have this problem.
