error 500 when trying to install

  • i’m trying to install wordpress on my server and when i try to access
    wp-admin/install.php i get the following error

    Error HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    any ideas of what could be the problem?
