Error "500" when setting up the Google Analytics Dashboard
-
I’m trying to install the Google Analytics Dashboard plugin The installation goes well until I get to the button on the dashboard that needs to be pressed to Authorize Google Analytics Dashboard, which when pressed takes me to a Google web page – https://accounts.google.com/o/oauth2/auth?response_typ…etc
Basically here there is an “Allow Access” button which ought to be the final stage in the cross communication of the Google Analytics Dashboard and Google itself. Clicking on the “Allow Access” button gets me a “500 Error” page related to the …/wp-admin/Index.php? page
Has anyone come across this before? I’m wondering if there is a quirk in the server settings as I know it’s a Windows IIS server and not the Linux/Apache servers that most are probably used to.
The web host hasn’t seen this before and has offered to help if it can be found out what access Google Analytics needs and if it operates through a specific port.
Any help would be appreciated.
