    Does the homepage also give 500 error?

    No – as far as I can tell, the transfer worked fine and the migrated site is working fine.

    It’s just that when I tried to perform that step of saving the Permalinks, I was informed of an Error 500.

    It doesn’t look as though anything is wrong, but I wonder why the error showed.

    No, I didn’t change anything. The details looked right so I just clicked save and got the Error 500 screen.
