Error 500 when creating new schedule

    Thanks for a great looking plugin. I have installed and configured for the first time with a simple config with two Calendars, one Shift Type and 3 Employees

    When I try to add a new schedule with the following actions an error 500 is thrown…

    • Shift Contoller page
    • ‘Add New’
    • Select Calendar page
    • User selects one of the displayed Calendars
    • URL parameters are submitted ?hca=new/hours/2618/0/0:date/20180422
    • Error 500 is returned

    Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

    what’s ShiftController version? As we had this issue when a calendar had one shift type (custom time), but it’s supposed to be resolved in 4.1.0

    Thank you. I updated from Version 4.0.8 to 4.1.0, it now gets past the error 500 however I am given the choice of one shift type, ‘-Custom Type-‘ even though there is the one other shift type that I created.

    Did you enable this other shift type for the calendar too? In Administration, Calendars, Shift Types

    No my bad! This is now working thank you.

    One last question how do email notifications work? Is there any config required?

    ….specifically if I want the system to send an email reminder to the scheduled employee before the shift is due to start?

    Hi,
    email notifications can be configured per calendar, in Administration, Calendars, Notifications. You can enable/disable various kinds of notifications, as well as edit their templates.

    As for reminders, so far they’re not yet implemented. As a workaround for the moment, you can make use the Administration, Upcoming Shifts Feed, it outputs the upcoming shifts in the CSV format so you can perhaps make your own reminder plugin or service, or feed it into some other application or service.
