• I tried out the free version of the WPC Composite Products plugin but was met with an error 500 when adding products to cart. It happened on multiple new composite products both with and without variable products. I already use the WPC Product Bundles plugin, is there a conflict using both at the same time?

    Hi @allarmsllc

You can add a fixed bundle to the composite products but it will cause the loading issue when buying this composite. So, please use bundle and composite separately.

About the 500 error, please try to increase the memory limit first https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

I’m not adding a bundle to a composite. I just meant I have both plugins installed and active. ANY composite product gives me a 500 error. My memory is already increased on my hosting.

I’m having the same issue as well – it only has issues adding to cart when 1) i set it as “include base price”. When its only base prices adding to cart works fine. Or 2) I set “Custom Quantity” to yes.

The issue is when i click add to cart, error 500 shows up. When i turn on debug mode, it says memory insufficient so i increased php limit to 256mb, but still i get a blank screen until i deactivate the plugin. It’s crashing the server but still not at 100% cpu usage.

@vadevalor @allarmsllc Please update our plugin to the latest version 3.3.6 and try again. I’ve improved the code. Hope it will work for you.

Thanks for the prompt reply! It didnt work, not sure if its because im using openlitespeed version of wordpress. Same issues faced when my product component is a variable item and i include base price and enable custom quantity. Looks good and works well on product page, but add to cart waits too long till a 500 error.

My php limit in config is set to 512MB, and i am using digital ocean 2GB RAM shared hosting.

Ok, I was able to add to cart with the Composite Product price set to “Only base price”. Either of the other two options still do not work.
