Error 500 Server Error

  • I am getting the 500 Error, internal server error. I cannot use the dashboard, post anything new or retrieve any older posts. I have a MAC OS, I am using 3.1. If I upgrade to 3.2 will the error message disappear? or do you need to fix this error 500 first? Can someone please contact me, this is very frustrating.     Thanks for the reply. I rebooted several times, and it is still not working. What do you mean “everything loads for you,” not on my site. You must be referring to your own site? Any other suggestions? How can I actually talk to someone from WordPress? Would that be you? I am researching this 500 error on the internet and by consensus others relate that this is really a server problem, not mine. So how does one go about talking to someone who works with the WordPress server? I do not get it. I am only told, “try again another time.” Well, It has been three weeks of waiting.     It still is happening. When I try to access old posts from the control panel, by selecting Posts, I get the 500 hundred error still. Anything else to try?
