Error 500 or Redirect error on blog

    Hi All.

    I’m a fairly novice wordpress user. Yesterday I went to upgrade to 2.7 and, after being able to access the dashboard, I thought it was successful.

    Today I find that I can’t access the blog portion of the site! at first firefox kept telling me it was detecting a redirect error. Now, after adding “/blog/” to my index.php files I am getting an Error 500. I can see all my blog posts if I preview a theme change, but can’t access the site.

    Tried adding “/blog/” after reading a few other threads, but can’t seem to find anyone else with the same error.

    The installation is running on my localhost, the blog and wordpress are located at https://localhost/blog and have no active plugins.

    Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
