Error 500 on updating

  • Hello when i try to update CF7 from V4.5.1 to 4.6 i have a error page 500 on FO and BO

    PHP Fatal error occurred: Call to undefined function wpcf7_add_form_tag() in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/acceptance.php on line 11.

    any fix for that ?

  • Sounds like maybe the update didn’t completed successfully. My suggestion is to try to upload the plugin files via FTP and see if this fixes the issue.

    Same problem here ??
    I tried to manual update it by ftp, but same result.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpcf7_is_localhost() (previously declared in /wp-includes/functions.php:5468) in /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 344

    I am using Avada Theme.

    for me this morning I upgrade contact form 7 on 70 WP and 3 came back with this 500 error
    (all this WP are on the same serve

    I think you have the latest version of CF7 but not the latest WordPress itself.?
    please update wordpress + CF7 + also if you have used Math captcha then update that as well.
