    Hi,
since we’ve updated to latest version of JetPack 4.3.2, we have an issue when we want to connect to LinkedIn from the Sharing settings page.

Once we click the “Connect” button for LinkedIn, the page get an Error 500 and when looking at the PHP logs, we have the following error:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type Jetpack_Error as array in /some-path/plugins/jetpack/modules/publicize/publicize-jetpack.php on line 164

This is a big issue for us as we mainly share news to LinkedIn. Thanks for your help.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Thanks for the report.

I’ve logged in the error here, so we can see about offering a better error message in the future.

The problem is most likely happening because your site isn’t properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you try the following:

    1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
    2) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” at the bottom of the page if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
    3) Confirm the disconnection.
    4) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

Let me know how that goes.
