Error 500 on Customizer

    I’m playing with Blocksy on my non-shared VPS with Plesk.

    After I have added some HTML block in footer in Customizer, my preview (IFRAME on right) gets a page with error:
    Server Error 500 / Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    I’m using PHP 7.4.3 with memory limit 1024M. I don’t use child theme. I tried different

    Anyone had this? Where should I look for solution? I didn’t had this with any other theme…

    Also, how big HTML widget can be, mine is like 15KB, which doesn’t sound like too much?

    Hmm… do you have any kind of security systems implemented? Perhaps you’ve activated mod_security on your end?

    I think it was because of restricitve ModSecurity:

    Well, that seals the deal. ??

    As a general rule of thumb, we recommend disabling mod_security as it has lost support and updates from their parent company — https://www.modsecurity.org. There are many other great ways to secure a website and mod_security can cause additional headaches in the future.
