Error 500 Internal Server Error with fasthost
-
Hi guys,
I installed WordPress 2.5 last week and everything was running fine before I went away for a few days. I’ve just gone to log into my site and add a post and I keep getting an 500 internal server error network with “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
I checked the error log and this is what I see:
# [Mon Apr 7 20:34:17 2008] [error] [client 72.9.105.42] FastCGI: comm with (dynamic) server "/var/www/fcgi/php-cgi" aborted: (first read) idle timeout (30 sec) # [Mon Apr 7 20:34:17 2008] [error] [client 72.9.105.42] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/www/fcgi/php-cgi"
My server is hosted with a fasthosts reseller. Has anyone else had this problem or could someone make any suggestions as to what is wrong?
I am no expert in these matters but is it an error cuased by a change in server configuation?!?
Many thanks,
James.
