• WordPress 4.3.1
Google Analytics by Yoast Version 5.4.6

I’m getting the following error when trying to navigate to the plugin Settings or Dashboard
    /wp-admin/plugins.php?plugin_status=all
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=yst_ga_settings

Error 500 – Internal Server Error
An error was encountered while processing your request. Typically this is a temporary condition. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

I try re-installing the plugin, deactivating an reactivating again, rebuilding permalinks to no avail. I checked permissions on the server and are 755 for folders and 644 for files

Google Analytics code is not currently working now that I deactivated and reactivated, the code does not appear in the front of the site anymore.

I appreciate your help with this issue.

I have the same situation: I’ve tried to install plugin few times, and everytime none of the links of Analytics menu are working – I’m getting 500 error every time.

    I also get an error:

Fatal error: Class ‘Yoast_Google_WPIO’ not found in /public_html/web/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/vendor/yoast/api-libs/google/Google_Client.php on line 92

Don’t know if this is the same issue, but it’s a nasty one. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, but that didn’t help..

I was getting the same error as the OP with version 5.4.6 of the plugin. I downgraded to 5.4.2 and everything started working again. Maybe there’s a bug in this newest version?

same issues here. @tharmann – where did you download the older version?
