Error 500 due to heavy admin-ajax.php usage?

  • I suspect the plugin is using too much the admin-ajax.php, what is causing a 500 error almost every day. So I have to reestart the server almost every day to fix the problem. Is my suspicion correct? I am running WordPress 4.8 on a IIS server. Is any other way around this problem?

    can you check your php logs to see if there’s additional error that might possibly caused this?
