    Hi great plugin – I’ve used it successfully in the past so this is weird…

    I tried several times on a fresh server environment and it wouldn’t unzip completely, I tried the manual extraction but then it would error because installer.php was still trying to find the zip.

    I got it onto my staging server so I matched php settings with the new server (Maxed out the time and size limits and made sure zip extension was enabled in PHP cpanel) and it appeared to install correctly. But I never could successfully login to the backend and delete the installation files.

    At one point I got a database error. I checked my wp-config.php and the database information was still the original (Duplicator did not change this on step 3 even though I entered this info) Fine. I edited it myself and the site works!

    BUT now I am getting an HTTP 500 error whenever I try to login to the back-end. I never successfully got logged in at step 4. The site is working fine but obviously I need access to the back end.

    I produced an error log and got this but upon inspecting the code, I cant see any errors (but I am not familiar with PHP so I might be missing something…?):

    “PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/t74hthgwaedy/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php on line 2119”

  • Hey @aktci,

    If you want to submit a support ticket for this issue I can have a closer look at your setup and installer log. Please provide a link to this thread when submitting the ticket.

    Thanks~

    Same error,
    we have found the problem in the file dup-installer / classes / config / class.wp.config.tranformer.php – line 153.

    Commenting the following code the problem are solved:

    if ( false === strpos( $this->wp_config_src, $anchor ) ) {
    throw new Exception( ‘Unable to locate placement anchor.’ );
    }

    (@aktci)

    I just wanted to say thanks for the support!
    I ended up having to do a manual extract AND safe mode install (my theme and required/bundled plugins were outdated and creating issues in the migration process)

    After the extraction timed out in normal mode, I clicked try again which goes back to step 1. Leaving this window open, I went to my file manager and deleted everything but the archive and installer.php, extracted the archive, and then went back to the duplicator installer. I had to “enable” manual extract via a link that appeared after the error, it wasn’t active in the dropdown. After that it worked fine, and then I just had to update my theme/plugins.
