Hi, I have been using Events Manager for a while now, no problem. I played in the settings, don’t remember which one I changed, but now when I activate the plugin, I get an error 500. Try remove and install again, same result. Is there a way to completely remove any traces of the plugin or any remaining settings? Or, in which database table can I see and remove the plugin settings?

I did not change/add/remove any other plugin before the error happened.

  • Under Event > Settings > Admin Tools. There is a Reset/Uninstall.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I know about that reset button as I did a parallel install and saw it. The problem is that I cannot get to it. As soon as I activate the plugin, I get ‘error 500’, cannot access the dashboard.

Have you tried deleting the folder events-manager and events-manager-pro inside the plugins folder and install a fresh one and try to activate again?

Alternative way is to delete the entries of EM Settings on Database. Under wp_options tables. (it may be different depending on your prefix) Try searching and deleting for any recurrence of dbem_. Settings have a prefix of dbem_

Try also on going to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and just hit Save. then try to activate plugin again.

Hi, the deleting folders did not make any changes. As for the database, after finding more than 300 hits containing dbem_ and deleting them, everything finally returned to normal. Thanks.
