• Hi Guys,

    Wondering if you can help.

I tried recently to make a back-up of site using FTP. I downloaded the files, scanned for viruses – which there were none and then re-uploaded.

After re-uploading however I get an HTTP ERROR 500, for both site and wp-admin page.

I contacted the host provider and they said it could be something wrong with script but didn’t specify.

Your advice and support is much appreciated.

    Many thanks
    M Ati

There are a few areas the images don’t work, homepage slide images are also not existing

It seems the images there simply don’t exist: https://www.sudan-living.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/external-corinthea-hotel-300×300.png

    Perhaps those files weren’t re-uploaded?

it seems that images have been deleted or are located in the wrong folder.

i have attempted to reupload images on the ftp but still no success. your help is much appreciated

images are added under wp-content/uploads folder?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

This particular image should be at /wp-content/uploads/2018/12/external-corinthea-hotel-300×300.png

the majority of images are stored in the folder

    /htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2018/07

if i change the 12 to 07, will that help?

sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

the only image that has loaded on the site:

    https://www.sudan-living.com/product/weights-30kg/

which is stored under the folder:- /htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2013/06

the images on the ftp are currently on: /htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2018/07 that are not showing. shall i change the file name?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Your site is looking for the image at /wp-content/uploads/2018/12/external-corinthea-hotel-300×300.png

But the image isn’t there, that’s the problem.

You need to either put the external-corinthea-hotel-300×300.png file under /wp-content/uploads/2018/12/

Or, you need to just delete the product’s image and add a new image for the product.

And then, repeat for all affected product.

If it were just one, I’d move the file, but since it’s all of them, I recommend just re-adding the images.

The link for the home where the slides are not display

    https://www.sudan-living.com/

the images of the slider used to be accessible via administration backend – slider section is no longer, not sure where I can upload these images.

Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://wedevs.com/account/tickets/

Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
