ERROR 500

Can someone please help as this is happening to others too.

I have replaced my .htaccess file.

Called hosting (inmotion) and increased memory to 256M. Host also checked server logs and found no issues.

Rolled back elementor to older version.

NOTHING works!

I don’t know what PHP version you are using, but rolling back from 7.3 to 7.0 seems to have fixed this issue for me. I can save again!!

Yep, true, 7.3 gave me issues before too.
I keep 7.2.14 for now..

I got an Error 500 and this worked for me:
I don’t know if this will fix all 500 errors but I found something today that fixes mine. I added some plugins and removed them and also updated Elementor. When I went to edit my Elementor page I got a “Page not Working Error” error 500. I went back into the page in the WordPress Editor and it showed up fine. I did an update with WP editor. I then went to my page with the Elementor Editor and it opened fine. I did this same thing with about 5 pages and every one worked with Elementor and updating with WP.

Let us know if this corrected your 500 error.

If there is a “Duplicate Post”, then copy the page and work in it.

Hey @lisaelementor,

I tried all the things in that doc without success.

The Edit with Elementor button is leading me to an “Could not find” page as well.

I saw other replies on the forums saying the new version may be the issue. What’s your opinion?
