    That may not necessarily be an error with the plugin.

    Hi Scott,

    Sorry for late answer. Actually I wrote my website name in my post but its surprisingly erased. Anyway I sent support request to you as you said. And my site name is https://www.netpirin.com. I am new in wordpress world. Maybe the error its not about plugin but I think you can suggestions to me about the issue.

    Hey mgurbuz,

    It may be not be within the forum rules to post your site name so a moderator may have removed it…I don’t know offhand, but I’d check. However your site name isn’t enough info for me to help you out. I didn’t receive your support request…If you wouldn’t mind please try it again. If you’re using a yahoo email address, that may be why also, as there is an issue with yahoo emails and contact forms on websites. If that’s the case you may want to use a different email. Please be sure when you fill out the form that it’s complete, that there are no error messages, and that it says the message was sent once you click “Send”.

    Also, have you tried Googling the issue? Try this in Google: “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Failed to connect to”.

    When I receive your support request I will look into this further.

    Hi Scott,

    Thanks for your assist. There is not any error when sending support request VIA support form. But I’ll check this and return to you ASAP. My e-mail address from hotmail. In the meantime I’ll try to googling the issue again and then I’ll resend support request to you. It maybe about folder permissions in php pages I think.

    Hi Scott,

    Subject is clear now.

    I am using freehostia chocolate plan for my website. It is free. And outgoing connections restricted for free hosting. Here is the answer from technical support

    The outgoing connection are restricted for free hosting plans which is the reason the access to the remote server is denied.

    I should buy another hosting plan I think.
