error 413 request entity too large

    I have been using dropdownmenu for over year, works great! I have created a large menu woth 150-200 items. However, my provider must have changed something on the server and since a week I get following error and he is not able to locate what ould be the reason. Any suggestions are appreciated:
    413 Request Entity Too Large
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/nav-menus.php
    does not allow request data with GET requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

    I tried lifting the memory limit, something that was needed a while ago, but it does not help. I cannot even delete menu items anymore!
