• Hi Yoast team!
I installed a few days ago your plugin, it seems to work.
Today a hundred and eighty 410 errors have been added to the google search console. This is the purpose of this plugin. Should I handle these errors? Or leave them? I have about 2000 images in my website. Can I be penalized when the 2000 errors will be marked in the Google search console? That worries me…a lot
    Thanks
    Willy

Hi, there are no other places to get an answer. Maybe to have a premium account?
    We remain in trouble.
In fact, for me, after three weeks with this plugin:

    – I have 1655 error in the Google search console today
    – I do not know if they should be marked as “problem solved”
    – I think it should not be good for SEO to have so much error in google
    – My statistics continue to fall since March

There may be another error on my part in WordPress, but I see that 10’000+ people have installed this plugin. The problem, hard to know, is the reaction time of Google. Yoast explains that we have to leave this plugin for six months. But six months with hundreds or thousands of errors…
My site is focused on images. And with recent changes (XML sitemap, reduced settings – removal of redirection of images to the parent page), Yoast no longer seems appropriate for my website. For the moment, I’m still waiting two or three weeks.
    That’s my little experience ??
