Error 404 when attempting WP-Admin login

  • The new owner of Mountain Edge Escape asked me to manage her website. WordPress had not been updated since 2017. When I attempted to update, I was told that PHP needed to be upgrade to V7 or higher, so I could only upgrade to WP V6.3. After upgrading and then clearing my browser cache, I now get a 404 error when I try to login. That is, the WP-Admin login page does not appear. Any ideas on what I can do in this situation? WP-login.php doesn’t work either.
