Error 404 on install

    Using Xampp to install wordpress and after I copy over the WordPress folder (with the Wp-config.php file) into the Xampp\htdocs folder I try to run ‘https://127.0.0.1/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php’ in my firefox browser and i get:

    Object not found!

    The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

    Been trying to run WordPress on my @$%$# computer for no less than 3 weeks now…. 3 weeks….. Problem after problem trying to get this running… Would pay stupid money to any web developer who could get this installed because i’ve been to every forum and corner of google/youtube i could sanely manage.
