    Thanks.

But how can I get the post to display when it’s published.

I will try changing the page name and then change it back again.

    That didn’t help ??

It’s just one post of hundreds that has this problem.

    This works:

    https://www.ourchangingglobe.com/obama-owns-the-economy!/

with the exclamation mark at the end of the URL.

Going to try playing with the permalink now.

    Well the post loads now.

Changing the permalink didn’t help but changing the title did.

Of course none of my old links to it will work anymore because it’s now called https://www.ourchangingglobe.com/its-obamas-economy-now/

If anybody knows what went wrong then please let me know.

So that neither I or others will have to spend half an hour trying all different things and may not have to lose all the links.

Do have one with same title in trash as may be that could be reason why it will not work but worked when you changed the title.

There wasn’t anything with the same name in the trash, but thanks for the suggestion.

After playing around with mysql for 20 minutes and not getting any joy, I finally deleted the post after copying everything and then just re-did the post. and changed the date to the original one.

    Now the link works!

Maybe the ! in the title caused a problem but I’m sure plenty of titles end with an exclamation mark.
