Ok, the Calendar page is working now. Only the links in the calendar widget at the frontpage are not working. Getting error 404.

When i add calendar widget via Appearance > Widgets. Then the links are not working and getting 404.

For now i use the javascript code until there is an update/fix.

Ps. The shortcode works also, but i don’t need the full calendar.

    Hi @vverloop,

There are a few different causes of the 404 error and some differnet solutions. Here are some steps that may solve this problem for you, please go through each one until the issue is resolved:

    – Make sure that your Calendar page is set to the right page in the Settings > Viewing Events tab (no need to use shortcode on a page set as the default in the plugin settings)
    – Try turning on/off “Strict compatibility content filtering” in Events -> Settings –> Viewing Events.
    – Try turning on/off “Use frontend rendering” in Events -> Settings –> Advanced
    – Try resetting Settings > Permalinks to Plain and then back to your custom style
    – This particular error is usually a result of a plugin or theme conflict (usually caused by a caching or security plugin).. To fix this, please try a different theme temporarily such as Twenty Seventeen, or, disable all plugins and then check if the problem recurrs — then re-enable each one until you find which one caused the problem.

    Let me know the results.

So it is not working out of the box. I need to go to Advanced Settings to get the plugin to work.

    Hi @vverloop,

There can always be conflicts with other 3rd party plugins, outdated software that can cause things to not work out of the box, but we are here to help diagnose and correct those issues.

Were you able to get it working? As it is unclear from your last message.

Thanks for your fast reply. I think i need your help. There is no rush for now.
Should be nice we can get the calendar widget to work.
Maybe it is something simple, but it looks like this is the only plugin that keeps doing strange thing.
    Tomorrow i give more information.

The website is changed. The page I need help with: https://www.scgvisual.com

I placed the Calendar Widget back to scgvisual.vincentverloop.nl. At the Frontpage you see the widget, but every link in de widget gives an error 404.

The following options are enabled in Advanced Settings:
    Use frontend rendering.
    Use advanced JS cache.
Link CSS in <head> section when file cache is unavailable.

    Hi @vverloop,

I assume you were able to solve the 404 problem? I can see the event load with no problems:
