• Hi,

Everytime I try to restore my site to the alternate location I use for prior tests it fails with the following error:
Unable to proceed because of a SQL query error.
I have contacted both Vaultpress and my host (PlanetHoster) and they say that it is caused by the plugin Wordfence.
So I have selected in the options of WF “delete tables and data when deactivated” and I also disabled the firewall. I then disabled and deleted the plugin but still the same same error occur.

    Looking for help

    Thanks.

  • Hi poudanet,

How exactly are you restoring your site? Are you using a plugin? Just file transfer and sql import? Have you checked your database? Do you see tables starting with “wf_”?

    Let me know.

Correction: Tables would probably start with “wp_wf”. For some reason I cannot edit my previous reply.

    Hi there,

    I’m using VaultPress.

I have checked my tables and none starting with wp_wf.

There is nothing left from WF on my site but still VP and my host come back to me with this error caused by WF.

There must be something that is slipping between our brain cells…

I have found a wflogs on my server which I’ve deleted. I’ll try and restore tomorrow and see if that was it…
