Error 403 on Google Search Console (wp-content/gallery)

    Hi to all,

    Google Search Console is alerting me with lots of crawling errors related to NextGEN Gallery:

    I’m sure about the relationship with the plugin because of the settings

    As you can see, at the end of January I tried to mark as solved all the errors, because I supposed that there were not link to those URLs. Instead errors come out again.

    The problem is that I can’t find out where those URLs are on the website. Why Google insists to crawl them?

    @marcopanichi – If those galleries exist then I see no reason for the appropriate URL not to be referenced by Google unless there is something else in place on your site that is unintentionally misdirecting the search engine …
