I’ve updated woocommerce to 9.1.2 on an unchanged environment with wp 6.5.5 on Apache 2.4.59 and PHP 8.2.20. Now, the search function in most pages does no longer work, i.e. I get an “403 Forbidden” error. Searching does not work in Order, Customers, Products, but it works in Categories. However, when you select a category on the products page and press search, you get “Forbidden”.

I have already invested half a day in searching and applying all the different advices found here and on other sites on the internet:
    – .htaccess deleted and re-created
    – permissions set to 755 at wp-includes and for all directories below it
    – disabling order attribution
    – disabling some plug-ins, re-enabling it

WordPress is installed and run by strato, so I do not have command-line access to the system. I have sftp access to change/update any file inside the wordpress installation, this is also how I tried the .htaccess fix.

Hope, someone can help me here, as for this weekend a sales campaign was planned – but when the search function on the product side is not working, it will take for ever scrolling through several 100 products before you find the one you want to update. Hope someone here has a good advice.
