• Hi,

I have just received a Server error 403 for a single member on our website. The member info can be viewed and edited but when the edit is attempted to be saved the error occurs. Other members info can be edited and saved with no issues.
This has been identified this week.
No plugin or software updates have been made recently.

I have read enough info on the web to find the answer with no success. I have not tried to disable the plugins as I think if its a plugin all members would be affected. All web pages are accessible.
I have deleted the htaccess file and refreshed. No change.

The fact only a single member is affected strongly suggests edit requests are being caught by modSecurity that’s likely being run on your server by your host. I suggest requesting that your host modify the modSecurity rules so you can edit member properties.

Thank you. Contacted the host and issue resolved.
