Error 403 for main WP index.php, DIRECTLY after install

  • Hi all,

    I have just installed WP 3.4.1 (and tried to install 3.4.0 after latest V gave me errors).

    First of all I extracted the files in the sub directory of choice … tried to access sub directory but had to write a .htaccess to access the index.php installation…

    Installation went fine, but trying to access the main blog at /wp/ or /wp/index.php gives me an error 403. Permission of index.php is currently 0644.

    I can access the admin area (after writing a .htaccess file), post, and edit old posts. So DB access is ok.
