    Hi!

I’m trying to use Google Site in my wordpress site, and I have already installed the plugin, but when I click on “Access with Google” blue button in the “Identify” stage I’m redirected to an error page that says “Authorization error. The redirect URI in the request, [URL1]/wp-admin/index.php?oauth2callback=1, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client. To update the authorized redirect URIs, visit: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials/oauthclient/ [URL2]”.
Note that URL1 and URL2 are actual URLs, but I’m not sure if they are sensible data, so unless it is necessary, I prefer not to post them in public.

Previously the site was managed by other person, but now that person can no longer manage the website and his/her tasks have been transferred to me, so it’s possible that an old version of Google Site Kit was configured. I would like to quit or reset that version if possible and start a new one.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hello @jalero ,

Thanks for opening a support topic.

As for the redirect_uri_mismatch issue, can you inform us whether you’ve changed your admin URL at any stage, before or after attempting to setup Site Kit?

If you are comfortable with the reset then please Reset Site Kit & try to setup Site Kit again. By resetting Site Kit you’ll have to reconnect all Google services once more.

Feel free to respond back in case you are still facing any issue while configuring Site Kit.

    Best Regards,
