  • I’m also waiting for the fix.

Can you advise the time of your plugin fix then?

    Groet,
    Murphy
I have to tell my customer how long the plugin isnt working..
He wants me to look for another plugin

    Hallo Kilbot,
Is it a problem to tell what the approximate time of the fix is?
I’m starting to get a little bit PISSED!!!!

What is the hold up with this fix?
Borrow a computer and spend the time!

I am currently travelling in Germany which means I can’t just borrow a laptop. I have ordered one, I am assured it will arrive tomorrow and I will have a release in about 24 hours.

If you need a fix for this problem immediately you should rollback to WordPress 4.8.

I understand everyone’s frustration and I certainly never expected it to take this long to receive my laptop. There is nothing I can do at the moment working from my phone.

If you rely on plugins for your business you should always wait a little while before doing a major update to WordPress or WooCommerce, there are always going unforeseen issues with a major update.

@murphylodder – please find another plugin

I also am having problems with this. I will wait patiently. Please do let us know when it is resolved.

We can all appreciate the situation but it isn’t viable to just roll back and no clever suggestions will help. These are real-time transaction systems. The system doesn’t stop collecting valuable real-time data because an update occurs. This problem, and the delay in resolving it, has caused loss of revenue for us and likely most others using this plugin. Just don’t underestimate the importance of getting this done. I think it is fair to say that this update failure will ensure that we all trust updates less and thoroughly pre-test rollouts more. Hurry up!

One of the limits of WordPress is just that, unfortunately.
Worpdress, WooCommerce and WooCommerce POS are three separate projects, and do not synchronize with each other. By now, it is the third time I am in a situation like this, and I realize that setting up an ecommerce website on a system that depends on three separate projects was not a very wise choice.
The risks of being in a situation like this are high, and the resolution times are unpredictable. Another major plugin (WooCommerce Stock Manager) has an unresolved bug for a month.

I have just released 0.4.16 which fixes the ‘rest_invalid_param’ error. Thank you all for your patience.

WooCommerce have also released a compatibility update today. You will need to update to WooCommerce 3.2.5 otherwise you will continue to see errors on checkout.

@kilbot i have try update the latest pos + woocommerce its still not work for wordpress 4.9

Seems to be working on my sites. Thanks Kilbot.

@flyangel – all true and we all should accept the effect of this type of platform but let’s not oversimplify here. WordPress is no typical open source platform. Woocommerce has its issues too but every now and then you encounter a plugin that has a uniqueness and value that creates an extra reliance – that is what kilbot has created for some of us. Great plugin’s come with great responsibility. It’s a good thing and an acceptable vulnerability. In this case the planets aligned against us…let’s hope kilbot lives long and prospers and so does his new laptop.

    Again, thanks kilbot

I’m trying this new version of plugin (and I’ve updated also woocommerce), but it’s not working when I use decimal quantities of products. Same error. Could you try the same situation at your websites? Thanks!

I also still get the same error.
