    Hi,
I’ve been using the UAM plugin for many years to restrict content based on the visitors’ IP address. Some of the content on my website is accessiable only for a few organizations, and they all have static IPs, so this was the perfect solution.

However, we are currently experiencing issues. I added a new user group in UAM and connected it to a post. But the IP addresses in the group cannot access the post.

I’ve tested while being logged in on one computer, and testing access on a different computer with a different public IP address (which I added to the uam group).

When I disable a whole bunch of plugins, sometimes it works all of a sudden. But it seems to be completely random as to which plugins it responds (yoast seo, classic widgets, monster insights google analytics, to name a few), and sometimes it works until I empty the browser cache and refresh the page and then it stops working again.

I’ve set up a staging site, activated the 2022 theme and disabled every plugin except the ones directly involved. The issue is still the same:
    – members, uam and gravity forms active: problem.
    – disable members plugin: problem disappears.
    – empty browser cache + refresh page: problem is back.

Do you have any idea what might be going wrong here?

    Hi,
it’s a shame there is no support, your great plugin has served me very well for years. I’m afraid I will now turn to a paid alternative that includes support.

I understand it is difficult to support a free plugin, so no hard feelings. Thank you for your UAM plugin.

    Hi @ispacecrusader,

I understand you are frustrated but working on this doesn’t pay my bills, so I’m focus on get the jobs done for which I get paid and currently there is plenty to do. I made hardly the experience that only a hand full of users is willing to pay for something which is free. People normally aren’t paying if it’s free no matter how good it is, expect other open source developers. If every user would pay 50 cent a month I wouldn’t need to do anything else for living. XD But I will see to make an update the next days. Maybe I also will find some time for your issue.
