• All my sites are on a VPS running Headway Theme and w3tc using the self-hosted CDN option. Minify is running successfully in “auto” mode.

Would love some help or suggestions for understanding these erratic Google PageSpeed scores. If I run the test after emptying all w3tc caches, I get scores in the 90’s, like this:

If I wait a little while, and the caches become repopulated, the cores drop about 10 points, like this.

Notice all the files from the self-hosted CDN that it says need to be compressed. What’s up with that? Gzip is enabled in w3tc as well as my theme.

FWIW, my scores at Pingdom are always decent, both before and after emptying the w3tc caches, like this. I’m thinking that Google is somehow misinterpreting. What do you think?
